Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer. The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous. Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

Draft at Kerrera, Guildford. I note that 99% of the Mexican Lagers on here are down as Lager - Pale, but this contains lime and salt so what exactly is it:). Thin foamy white head. Aroma has tart citrus, hops and a herbal element with underlying sweet malts. Flavourwise it's sour and citrusy with that saline element and underlying malts and yeas. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice lager.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A pale straw coloured pour with a thick white head; floral aroma; crisp bready taste and an immediate bitterness with resins and citrus; then a long bitter finish. More unrest than the average lager.
