Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer.
The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous.

No head to speak of; jet-black beer pouring as motor oil, if less viscous. Intense alcoholic/fusely nose, red wine indeed. Nuts, nougat, raisins, old cake, portwine. Red wine, ink, again dried red fruit as raisins, figs, cherries, fried banana. Fusels à volonté. Chewy, alcoholthinning, medium carbonated at best, heat. Oats lending creaminess. Serious stuff.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts, dark fruits, caramel, berries, citrus. Taste is more malt-forward than Siren's usual efforts at this style, some chocolate, dark fruits, caramel, liquorice, hops giving berry fruits and citrus, a little piney bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Hmm... it's fine but Siren can and usually do brew much better BIPAs than this. Too many breweries spoil the beer?
Also: I rated this while watching England v France and we're 4-0 up at half time of the third place match. Crazy. Clearly this was due to me drinking this beer at this moment in time.

Can at home picked up from Siren . A clear pale gold coloured pour with a loose white head. A soft wheat, bubble-gum, lime zest, melon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready grains, wheat, lemon rind, grassy citrus, Palate is soft wheat, fluffy, powdery carbonation.

375ml bottle. Jet black colour, no head. BA supported, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, molasses, Bourbon, some vanilla and dark toffe. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, slightly alcoholic BA support, notes of dark chocolate, molasses, treacle, Bourbon, dark caramel.
Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, cloying palate with a minimally pungent effect from the alcohol, fine, soft, scattered carbonation.
Rich, a bit boozy - pretty decent.

Black with a beige head. Big vanilla over roasted malts, coconut, caramel, chocolate cake, a hint of wood. Full, creamy body, The finish is also intensely sweet with loads of vanilla and coconut over some chocolate. The rum is lost entirely though a very slight oak note does come through. Just way too sweet but otherwise it’s fine.

Can at home picked up from siren online. A mostly clear brushed gold coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, midget gems, tangerine, white grape melon, juicy citrus.. Well rounded. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready base grains, soft wheat, spicy citrus, midget gems, firm bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded grains, moderate carbonation. Good stuff.

Can at home picked up from siren online. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a a fine white head. Aroma is nice juicy fruit, lime citrus, pear, white grape, soft pillowy wheat. Flavour is composed of soft fluffy wheat, juicy fruit, nice, Krush hop, melon. Firm citrus bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, highish carbonation. Good hazy.
