Can from Daylesford Organic Farmshop, Moreton-In-Marsh Didn’t have high expectations for this (white labelled product brewed by an unspecified brewer) but what a great example of an unfiltered lager/helles. Good aroma, malt, straw, husky, grainy, citrus, slightest hint of banana. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Crisp, very easy drinking. Excellent example of the style.

Golden copper with a fast escaping white head.
Nose is bitter sweet apple, earthy tones, vinous, light funk, hay bale.
Taste comprises sweeter edged apples, caramel, herb, orchard floor, light acidic prickle.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple flesh, mineral note. Taste is sweet, appley, fruity, orchardy funk with acetic hint and drying woody tannin. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, medium dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Reddish orange-amber colour, short-lived bubbly head and aroma of apple, blackberry, funk. Taste is sweet, appley, funky, some tartness, with blackberry notes and mellow acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweetish berries in the medium drying finish. Quite drinkable.

Nose is herb, grains, grass, hedgerow, pale malts.
Taste comprises stewed fruits, green apple, glue, grains, herb.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close.
Not great ... got the Hepworth cheap brewing touch all over it.
