Tasting glass @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. NITRO. Very dark brown mahogany with almost very dark red hue, disappearing head. Smell is very much furniture, paint, harsh, plastic smoke,… Taste is flat plastic grain, basic some soy sauce, flat plastic smoke,.. Low carbonation plastic, basic,… Not bad but very basic flat plastic smoke, lacks depth and/or balance.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy beige head, irregular, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of dried fruits, malty, some caramel, alcohol, some DMS. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, sugary, banana, molasses, sugary. Aftertaste: sugary, lots of ripe banana, bit sour, caramel.

Bottle at herten. Aroma of malt, smoke, chestnut, caramel and bacon. Taste has nice bacony rauch, caramel, chestnut, some yeast ester and malt. Good stuff.

150ml, 10 % abv, on tap at Foeders. Hazed dark brown body, medium sized beige head, crocheted lacing. Dried fruity smell, nicely roasted. Taste of caramel malts, raisin and moments of yeasty fruitiness. Dried fruity ending with warmth from the alcohol. Full bodied. Slow sipper qualities. (Amsterdam 10.03.2018).

150ml draught at Foeders. Creamy fawn-coloured head, good lacing, opaque rosewood coloured body. Smoked malty nose, mid-sweet. Flavoured with smoked malts mixed with caramel, bread, and dried fruits. Malt-fruity, lingering end, warmth from the alcohol. Well bodied. Decent sipper. (Amsterdam 10.03.2018).

Backlog rating. Cloudy yellow, foamy white head. Herbal and citrus (mandarin), apricot, light spice aroma. Minerallic fruity, flowery, apricot, herbal, coriander. Medium body, sparkly. tart note - citric finish. Very nice.
