Pours orange-tinged amber into a Sam glass. Pancake head with mediur retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel, hay and bread aromas. Slightly off-setting chemical aroma. Medium bodied with sweet caramel upfront and a slightly acidic bitter roasted nut finish.

22 oz. bottle. Labeled as Oktoberfest (don’t know what this name is??) Mugs shows semi- transparent amber color with respectable head retention. Nose has mostly malt with a touch of German hops. Body has a nice malty backbone with a light hop, crisp bitterness and a light, wheaty flavor. Not much carbonation, but not totally flat.

On tap at the source 8/25/2012. Comes to the table a light golden straw color without much of a head by the time the waitress sets the glass down. Smells of floral and spicy hops with a fair amount of bready pilsner malt to back it up. There’s a hint of lemony tartness that while faint just seems out of place in the aroma. The flavor is bready and sweet pilsner malt that gets blasted with spicy hops. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet spicy mouthfeel. Nice pilsner not the best I’ve ever had but definitely quaffable.

Pours orange peach into a shaker. No head whatsoever. Sweet banana aromas. Dry with sweet yeast and banana. Abrupt yeast finish.

Pours a clear red orange brown color with a decent sized bubbly tan head that slowly dissipates to a ring on top. Smells like a brown ale. Lots of caramel and toffee with hints of butterscotch, chocolate, and earth. The flavor is sweet with malts, lots of brown sugar and caramel with a slight bit of spice and earth. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation ans a sweet lightly syrupy mouthfeel. This is a nice brown ale. Solid tasty simple brew.

Pours deep mahogany into a Sam glass. Mocha micro head with good retention recedes leaving no lacing. Sweet milk chocolate and caramel aromas. Soft with dark caramel and chocolate milk front to back. Dry chocolate finish. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF. Very slight haze on this brown beer. Slightly dry. Sourish malt with tangy fruits. Coca cola and Dr Pepper. Finishes crispy dry with more sour fruits. Consensus was this was off but I really liked - oh dear!

Bomber shared at Slutfest 3, Richmond, VA, 4/21/12. Pours a hazy copper with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral hops and toasted malts. The taste is bitter citrus hops with faint malts. Medium bodied. Fairly pedestrian.

22oz bottle pours a watery, translucent deep brown with some cloudy white head. Nose is sugary, malty, bread, chocolate, cola. Flavor is sweet, caramel, toasted bread, flat cola. Medium bodied finish.

Pours ruby-tinged mahogany into a Sam glass. Off-white soapy head recedes leaving spider lacing to mottle surface. Earthy manure, caramel and bread aromas. Sweet caramel and toasted nuts upfront turning to roasted pine in the lasting finish.
