Described as a good beer to have with pizza. I can only say that Mnr Spangler is right. This goes very well with pizza, darkish but still fairly light with a hoppy finish and a rusky aroma. Malty flavour

Draught. Darker than I expected with a thick white head. Too restrained aroma, some rye smell. Lekker flavour, complex and malty, with a fine hop spine. Good hop finish

On tap at Belmont Station's Bier Cafe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of dry biscuity malts and dry piney hops - a bit of herbal quality as well. Flavour brings out a blast of piney hops, a touch of herbal hops and some nicely dry biscuity malts in the background. Dominated by the hops, but still balanced enough. Great stuff.
