Bottle. A lightly unclear one, golden-orange in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is lightly herbal and spiced, with a resiny, grass and citrusy touch. Some pale malts in the flavor, but it’s more on the hoppy and yeasty side. Resins, grass, herbal notes and a touch of peppery yeast. It’s dry and medium to full-bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting quite bitter finish. Sure a nice one, but I find it a bit unbalanced. 150228

On tap at Kick. It’s a hazy, orange-amber beer with a small, dense, off-white head. There’s loads of mocha on the nose, with a solid dose of resins and grapefruit. Malts in the back. It’s full bodied and smooth on the palate, with quite a lot of hoppy bitterness. Grapefruit, resins and lots of mocha too. A really good blend of coffee and dark chocolate. Lasting finish mixing coffee and IPA in a very fine way. This was definitely not my last glass of this beer. 150223

Black color with a fine beige head that last, and gives an ok lacing down the glass. Nice mellow aroma with coffee, chocolate and mild roasted. Medium body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. A bit creamy texture. Nice pleasant flavor with coffee, chocolate and mild roasted. A really fine and pleasant mild porter. Very easy drinkable.

On tap at Smelteverket, Oslo. Hazy amber with off-white head. Hoppy and fairly fruity aroma with notes of pine, hints of citrus and quite malty with notes of caramel. Sweet and hoppy with a decent bitterness. Tasty DIPA, but too much on the sweet side for my liking. Nice one still.
