Aroma is low key. A tad vinous, a tad herbal. Malts. Opaque dark gold. Frothy foamy translucent white head. Flavourwise we get some developments. Medium-heavy bitter. Herbal. Vinous edge. Grainy. Citrus. Underlying fruity sweetness dares to raise its head. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I like. Big bitter NZ hopped stuff
Red. Not for me

Panda at home, thanks to Grumbo/Graham, 31/03/23. Almost clear orange with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is herb, sharp citric zest, hedgerow, touch of gin, damp oak, spice. Taste comprises gin blossom, mellow barrel, vinous tones, hedgerow, herb, citric tang, kiss of alcohol, light honey. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad ... has some complexity ... maybe the elements don't all come together that well but decent enough.

Panda at home, thanks to Grumbo - cheers Graham, 30/03/23. Unclear deep mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is vinous, dark fruit esters, toffee, spice, herb, dark malts. Taste comprises earthy fruits, plums, spice, figs, dark malts, toffee, vinous notes, hint of barrel. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light drying close with a spike of alcohol. Decent enough sipper.
