9/9/2018. Bottle from the brewery. Pours black with a lasting tan coloured head, some fizz in the glass and a bit of gushing from the opened bottle. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, toffee and light fruit and veg. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, quite fizzy carbonation. Smooth chocolate finish. Best I’ve had from this brewery.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours almost clear golden amber with an average sized off-white head. Aroma smelt lovely from the bottle, fresh and fruity, both before and after pouring, but oddly in the glass was much less appealing, with an edge of plastic, earthiness, pine, skunk and fruit tea. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light body, average carbonation, dry fruity bitter finish.
