Had this cask, gravity at Hop Pole, Aylesbury (shop), Thursday 6th November 2014 Pours dark brown a few bubbles skitter across the top. Fruity, mostly autumnal hedgerow fruits but also with a hoppy bite and a light seam of roastiness. Fine but like Glen I am unsure what this is setting out to be, whilst its definately got a hoppiness it doesn’t really feel like a BIPA, in fact the young chap who served me informed it was a porter. Had this cask, gravity at Hop Pole, Aylesbury (shop), Thursday 18th September 2014 Amber or maybe warm gold as I recall with a scattrring of white bubbles. Hops on nose. Bitterness strikes through straight away, not harsh but quite pushy. Pleasant APA, easy drinking for the abv, fruity. Liked it. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Had this cask, gravity at The Hop Pole (beer shop) Thursday 4th September 2014 Pours dark gold with a white head, a touch hazy. A harsh bitterness persists, malty and initially bittersweet but its the bitterness that I don’t get on with, ok. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 1/9/2014. Golden with a thin, white, head. Aroma of grassy hops, a hint of chilli warmth and tangerine. Flavour had some fruit and cereal mlats upfront, before some subtle chilli flavours and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Gravity dispense at EBF ’18, 07/08/14. Hazed golden orange with moderate off white edgeing. Nose is earthy, straw, light funk, bitter citrics, orange pith. Taste comprises lemon rind, hay, tangy orang vibes, earthy wash, hint of bread, light yeast. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a tangy fruit finish. Simple saison but solid enough flavour profile for the ABV.
