Kelchner Brewery is co-owned by Chris and his wife Marisa. they purchased the brewery in February 2018.

A key aim when purchasing the brewery was to work with local community and environmental organisations, to ensure continued success for them and the brewery.

Bottle from Beerfly, Bedford. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, malt, hops and has a sweet caramel finish.

Cask at Wetherspoons, Milton Keynes. Copper-gold with a white head. Rather average condition, which was actually better than I expected given the poor bar service here. Tastes of caramel, a touch of stewed apple, and some twigs. Sweetish with a mild bitterness in the finish. Decently full mouthfeel, but otherwise a sub-par bitter.

4/10/2019. Cask at the 42nd Bedford Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, orange, hops, grass, malt, biscuit and a hint of spice. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice bit of fruity bitterness to finish. Best of the day so far.

11/2/2019. Bottle from Bottle Mix, Kettering. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, toasted malt, toffee, hops and dark fruit. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Bottle Mix, Kettering. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a sweet roasty finish.
