Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Tewkesbury Winter Beer Festival, 1/2/2019. Near black in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Easy-drinking stout with a light mouth-feel, dark fruits, toasty malts and a gentle finish. Good.

Bottle bought from Beerfly, Bedford. Brown and translucent. Looks a bit more like cola than beer in my glass. Drunk at home. Lots of roast malt, coffee grounds, some blackberry and plum on the nose. Sweet taste, with just a touch of hoppy bitterness. Heavily roasted malt and ash in the aftertaste. Fairly thin body, soft carbonation. Not very hoppy for a BIPA although it's a decent enough drink.
