Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a murky apricot with minimal white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just some vague floral hops. In the mouth there is a biref burst of sweetness before it quickly become slightly bitter. Floral hops and citrus vie with dried apricots for supremacy, plus hints of ginger and apples. Creamy texture leading to a dry finish. It’s quite reasonable.

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival. Shared with Finn on the first day of the festival. Scattered lacing from a low white head, close-to-clear yellow-gold body. Mango nose, alright, mid-dry. Pineapple up front to the taste profile. Grassy hops towards the ending. So and so. (Nottingham 12.10.2022).

440ml can. Pours a clear reddy amber, almost no head. Aroma of strawberries and cream, light citrus. Taste is sweet, vanilla, strawberries, citrusy hops with a slight bitterness. Medium body, creamy. More strawberries and cream as opposed to the strawberries & white chocolate it claims to be, also noted chocolate not mentioned in the ingredients/description so perhaps it was removed from the can version?
