Can from a Beer52 Father's Day four-pack that Sainsbury's were selling off cheap. Cloudy orangey-blonde with a white head. Tastes of gooseberry, papaya, cardboard and white pepper. The cardboard let down what could have been a pleasant (if rather muted) brew.

330ml can from Jumbo, Rotterdam Blaak. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, light herbal, mineral, toffee caramel, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Coffee grounds, toast, charcoal, raisin. Sweetish raisin & brambleberry, bitter toast & coffee. Earthy hops, tobacco. Short finish, somewhat watery texture. This had more potential, but somehow didn’t come to fruition.
