33cl can via Beer52, drank in Devon on 4th May 2025. Mahogany body, off-white head. Malty front with a decent hop profile, some orchard fruits and woody hints, enjoyed it with Emmental Cheese.

Tap @ 't Taphuys Utrecht. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and moderate hoppy - citrus and herbal. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 140425

7/III/25 - 33cl can from Beerinabox (webshop, NL), shared @ Gentse Biervereniging adventskalender-tasting, BB: 17/IV/26, P02722 (2025-249)

Clear dark red brown beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: a bit malty, grains, slightly fruity, hoppy, soft roast, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: hoppy start, dry, bitter touch, soft roast, a bit malty, grains, very dry, grassy. Aftertaste: bitter, somewhat grassy, hoppy, dry finish with some malty undertones. More a red ale, than a black IPA.

33cl can from Beer52.A glossy black pour with a fast fading cream head; roasted malt aroma with a little pine in the background; smooth in the mouth with an immediate fresh bitterness, then some well roasted grains adding a touch of coffee to the finish.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, light roast and a pleasant fruity hoppy touch. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Well-made Brown Ale with a welcome hoppy bitterness.

From tap at Café De Koffer, Groningen. Aroma is strong cold coffee with espresso, notes of dark chocolate but mostly just massive grindy coffee. Flavour is mild to medium roasty bitterness, body is medium. Heavy coffee, good stuff!
