Cask, handpump at FFTMC, Oxford 11.12.10 Pours dark chestnut in colour with an off-white head. This is quite nutty and with a good depth of flavour, some rich toffee showing, not too much spice which is usually a ruiner of many a Christmas beer, very decent. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Cask, gravity, Wantage Beer Festival 19.11.10 Amber in colour without any head, save for a few stray bubbles dossing about like a couple of bored kids kicking a football in the street. Some streaky citrus, quite a bitter beer, biscuity maltiness good bitter bite. There is some tanginess, a dollop of fruit at the end, its nice. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
