Cask ale, half pint at Cotswold Arms. Clear amber-dark reddish body, tiny white head, scattered lacing. Quite inviting smell of dried fruits and earthy malts. Rather similar taste of dried fruits, including prunes, and mid-sweet malts. Bittersweet end, lightly roasted. Medium bodied. Pretty good. (Burford, Cotswold 26.04.2025).
