[Cask at the Counting House (JDW), Glasgow.] An amber pour with a thin white head; malty aroma with a little orange; biscuity malt taste; and a dry finish with a woody bitterness.

[Cask at the Society Room (JDW), Glasgow.] A pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head; floral aroma; sweet orange taste; and a bitter marmalade finish. Not quite what I was expecting from Citra hops.

Hazy golden beer, thick frothy head. Light spiced aroma. Flavour has banana, pepper, a little crisp hop, a bit of citrus zest, a little funky yeast. Doesn't pack that much of a punch for a nearly 6% saison but it's decent enough.

Can from Aldi Inverurie. It pours deep blonde - light brown with a lasting frothy white cap. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy, woody, nutty, cereal, rivita and toasty grain. The taste is dry, nutty, woody, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, cereal, leather, rivita, spicy, floral accents and a touch of boozey heat with a drying, woody finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. A big turbo bitter. Decent gear.
