[Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence] A golden amber pour with a tight cream coloured head; rye aroma; caramel taste with some rye and red fruit; then a fruity finish. A satisfying pint.

[ As Fine Tuned Dark Soul Porter ].
ABV: 4.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190721]

13/7/2019. Cask at the Pig & Pickle, Exeter. Pours almost clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt, grass, caramel, flowers, leaves and light pine. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice brew to bring up Somerset #100.

Cask @ The Pig & Pickle, Exeter. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops, little caramel and nice bitter hops.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Prince of Wales, Chippenham 7/12/2018. Pale gold in colour and slightly hazy with a frothy, white, head. Tangerine and pineapple fruits, citrus hops, some biscuity malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Half-pint, cask ale at Cellar Door. Shared with Finn. Covering beige head, fair lacing, very dark in the glass with a deep ruby tint. Aroma of grainy chocolate. Mid-sweet chocolate flavours with a backdrop of coffee. Roasted ending. Nice stout (Newport 03.10.2018).
