From a 640ml bottle on 1/1/2015. Pours a dark brown with a big tan head which disappears. Has a nice aroma featuring some strong coffee, chocolate and some light roasty notes. The flavour is, not surprisingly, dominated by coffee with some sweet milk chocolate, nuts and vanilla. Finishes with a modest bitterness which complements the flavours nicely. This is really nicely done with the coffee beautifully integrated. The palate is quite creamy. My only issue is slight over carbonation. Otherwise, this is excellent.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/10/2014. Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden with a biggish head. Features a very pleasant aroma featuring lots of passionfruit and floral notes. Flavour wise, it’s quite fruity (curiously, mostly melon) against a mild caramel malt background, which is followed by a strong, almost blunt, lingering bitterness which hangs on to the back of the tongue for dear life. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. This is an odd and slightly agricultural brew, but is not without its charms.

From a 330ml bottle on 13/11/2012. Pours a dark cloudy amber with a small head. Has an earthy aroma with some slight chocolate and caramel notes. The flavour gives you a decent dash of chocolate, some coffee, and a bit of wattleseed spiciness. The bitterness is moderate. Okay but a little too subdued to be really enjoyable.

From 330ml bottle on 20/6/2010. Pours tan and cloudy, with a fair bit of yeast sediment in the bottle. Aroma is mild citrus fruit and a little grassy. Taste wise, the mild citrus fruit is there again, with some herbal notes, finished off by a medium bitterness, and just a touch of sourness. Decent and drinkable but nothing special.
