Bottle, shared by Myrup. Poured a hazy, golden-orange body, with a nice, creamy, beige head on top. Apple juice and pear dominates the aroma, but there’s also floral notes and some caramel. The flavor is quite fruity as well, but the apple is mostly gone, leaving more room for the pear, and some caramel sweetness as well. Creamy, medium full mouthfeel. It finished with some fruity acidity, but acidity in a positive way. Not sure about this one. I like it, but I doubt it is sessionable. (071005)

Bottle. Clear, brown body, with a beige head. A bit weak aroma maybe, quite roasted, and with a little sour note. Still, I like it. The same roasted and sour is in the flavor as well, but the flavor is more on the sweet side, finishing sweet, roasted and malty, with some sour notes here as well. Medium body. Not my favorite from Virklund, but still nice. Rating: 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. 070928

Bottle. An unclear, dark, dark brown beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Some unpleasant yeasty notes in the aroma, slightly fruity too, with caramel tending towards cola and last but not least a roasted, dark bread crusty smell. That was so strong and obvious even the fourteen year old daughter of my friend serving the beer commented on it. Rather roasted flavor too, with chocolate and dried fruits underneath. Medium to full body, yet feeling a bit thin. Nice carbonation. Roasted and bitter finish. Although a bit yeasty, sure a drinkable beer I’m not scared away from having again. 110801

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with lacing white head. Slight malty sweet and somewhat fruity aroma. Sweet slight herbal flavour. Dried fruity and sweet malty too. Ends mild bitter and with a persisting caramel note but also slight citric.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy, amber golden with a tall and lively, off-white head. Fruty, lightly vitamin-like nose. Medium body, lighly sweet floral accents - roses? The finish is dry. Quite interesting. 051007

50 cL bottle, thanks to Myrup. Pours hazy orange with dense white head. Floral and apple/pear nose. Floral flavour too. Has a rather different hops flavour. Nice mild malt base beneath. Ends mildly bitter. Different. Refreshing. I somehow get to sense the roses depicted on the label - quite floral/fruity brew.

Bottled. Dark amber. Aroma of butter and milk chocolate. Dryish and caramelly with clean mouthfeel. Like it’s brother this IPA has very little hop aroma to cover the mediuocre malt structure. Resiny finish.

Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Sweaty and salty, dry and caramelly. Soem caramelly malt provides medium, body and clean mouthfeel. Hops contribute mostly to salty bitterness and very little to aroma.
