(Can) Pours opaque milky yellow with tiny white head. Great aroma of milky coffee with hints of citrus, grain, cardboard and pepper. Medium bodied, smooth, with fine carbonation. Extraordinary and excellent taste with a clever balance of coffee and fruity hops that surprisingly works really well. On the one hand there’s a nice milky coffee and on the other there’s a fruity milkshake IPA. I keep having to take another sip to get my head around it. Very unusual and very enjoyable.

From a 375ml can on 29/3/2022. Pours a deep brown with a smallish head. Has a light coffee aroma, but not as big as the Flat White. Much more coffee on the sip which dominates the experience, with some light chocolate, caramel and nutty notes, with a medium roasty bitterness and lingering coffee at the back. Has a silky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Maybe just shaded by the Flat White, but just. Excellent.

From a 375ml can on 27/3/2022. Pours a clody golden with a samllish head. Smells like a strong creamy cappuccino. On the sip, coffee dominates with some light citrus sweetness in play as well. Has a light spicy bitterness which provides nice balance. The mouthfeel is very creamy, the carbonation moderate. Comes together really nicely.

No mistaking the mango in this one. That's probably the highlight. A lot of pine needles and a bit of apple.

330ml can from Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, light citrus, mineral, light herbal, light floral hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average to soft carbonation. The difference between this and the Hop Sauce at just 1% ABV more is quite surprising.

Sauce Brewing Extra Hop Sauce West Coast IPA 6.2% Clear copper-orange in color with a thick light beige head and an aroma of overripe tropical fruits. Medium bodied and smooth with a banging flavor of bright vibrant tropical fruits like guava and mango. Canned in early January but this is tasting super fresh and spot on.
