Bottle at LOC Brewpub. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are both really grainy, malt and grainy bitter. Too much imo. Unfortunately, this is not very nice. I'm thirsty so I'll finish it but I don't like it.

Thick-set dense cream-tan head over deep red-brown beer, veiled, leaving lace. Sweet, alcoholic and wood-like nose, liquorice, coffeemilk. Enormous loads of liquorice, drop - and both sweet and salt, as there is indeed a large minerality here. Wood, dried-out chocolated, wet cardboard. Well-bodied, slick to chewy, very good carbonation. What was the idea??? To see how much malt could be replaced by some packs of zoute drop ? Well, not as much as done, it's hardly drinkable. Txs to B & T for the gift!

33cl bottle. A clear dark amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of strong dark malt, brown malt, some red fruits. Taste of caramelized malt, red fruits, berries, yeast.

Flesje gedronken bij buitenlust. Diep donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma is houtig en moutig. Smaak is fruitig van kers en pruim. Nasmaak is iets bitter en later wat houtig.
