Pours a cloudy golden colour and a big, dense, steady white head - good retention and lacing. Aroma's of stone fruit, sweetish, dankish. Retronasal it's sweetish, soft fruit, a bit resin. Flavour is light sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Light moderate bitter finish.

Pours dark, not entirely black, and a rocky light beige head with fairly good retention. Aroma's: roasted, coffee grind. Retronasal it's hard roasted, sweetish, bitterish. Flavour is bitter with some dark malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Long finish, full of roast, bitter.

Clear dark reddish brown beer, huge creamy beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: chlorine up front, bit of a metallic impression, apples, dried fruits, more metallic notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, good roast, some alcohol, lots of dried fruits, alcohol, chocolate notes, caramel malts. Aftertaste: bitter hops, fruity touch, roasted, bit oxidized, chocolate notes, a sweet touch, hoppy finish, some alcohol, nice one!

Can at home. Murky dark brown to black color, medium to full sized off-white to beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, quite roasty, firm to heavy roasty even, a bit too dominating the hoppy side of what I feel a BIPA should be like. Makes way for a very heavy roasty malt bitter finish though. In the end, not too bad, but too one sided to be a good BIPA.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige geur met iets van grapefruit. De smaak is vol hoppig, harsig, grapefruit en citrusachtig met een bittere afdronk.

Bottle, brewed may 2021 bottled may 2022. BA on Appleton Rum cask. Color: Murky brown, thin beige head. Aroma: Malty, dark dried fruit, sweetish Rum. Taste: Dark malt, caramel, toffee and chocolate fudge notes, dark dried fruit well balanced with sweetish Appleton Rum. Bit sugary and boozy. Warming mouthfeel. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Very nice.

33cl Fles van De Laat. Donker oranje-amber van kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Ruikt zoet, harsig, citrus, caramel, bloemig, heerlijk oldskool en fors bitter. Mooie American BW / DIPA kruising.

Thx to Tom Hendriksen for this bottle - Euro Swamp 02/2022. Hazy amber color and a nice off-white head. Nose is herbal, hoppy faint fruity. Taste starts bitter hoppy, slightly fruity, grapefruit- and orange-peel. Zesty. Rather bitter-hoppy finish. Old school IPA.
