Description
Muifelbrouwerij is located in The Netherlands in Oss, Noord-Brabant. Our mission is to develop, produce and sell tasty and unique craft beers. We started in 2007 and we are extremely proud on our brewery and our craft beers. In our head-quarters at the Vikingenweg in Oss we have a tasting room, our warehouse and since January 2019 our own brewhouse, fermentation tanks and filling line.

The name Muifelbrouwerij might need some explanation. Muifel is a non-existing word and is derived from Megen and duivel. Megen is a small city in The Netherlands where the brewery started on small scale (20 liter brews) for private consumption. Duivel is Dutch for Devil. Muifel was the name of one of the beers from the early days, inspired by the famous Belgian Duvel beer.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Herbal, citric aroma. Malty sweetish, herbal peppery flavor with lots of citrus. Not bad, lacks a real hops and fruit bite.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Pitch black with a nice firm tan head. Dark chocolate aroma with some coffee as well. Medium bitter taste with quite a dry finish. At the end some more, sweet, chocolate as well. Very nice straightforward imperial stout.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy amber with a white head. Heavy caramel aroma with piny hops. Proper bitter taste with a full long-lasting bitter finish. I guess you can label these malt heavy bitter double IPA's as old-skool these days but I tend to like them. Well done.
