About
Independent brewery 1856-1987. Then owned by Nora/Ringnes/Orkla. Owned by Carlsberg from 2004. The new craft brewery "E.C.Dahls Bryggeri" opened August 4th 2016. In 2019, The Carlsberg Group has signed an agreement to sell the property of its brewery site in Trondheim, Norway. Not included in the deal is the brewery E.C. Dahls which remains part of the Carlsberg Group, formally owned by Feldschlösschen which in turn is owned by Carlsberg.

0,33 flaske fra Coop Extra Hundvåg, hjemme: lys gylden med ok skum, noen kniplinger. Lys malt, mild citrus, hint av urter. Slank, forfriskende og lettdrikkelig her i solkroken. Mild bitterhet og ganske fruktig (om enn noe kort) ettersmak.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Almost clear pale golden body under a white head. Mild aroma with just a hint of fruity hops. Taste is light malty, slightly fruity and really not much more going on. Thin bodied with short aftertaste. Boring.

Bottle. A dense two-finger white head leaves lacing over a clear pale golden colored body. The aroma has a biscuity maltyness in the back, with citrusy hops in the front. Lemon, grapefruit and pine cones. It's medium bodied and smoothly carbonated, semi-sweet, with a hop driven flavor. Too much maltyness in the back I think. Wort-like, hoppy finish. 330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A snow white head resting on top of a cloudy golden body, spotty lacing. Inviting grass-floral aromas. Smooth taste of orange, leafy hops, and backed by mid-sweet malts. Rounded bittersweet finish. Soft mouthfeel. Pretty decent. (Tromsø 14.03.2023).
