Cask at Hail to the Ale, Wolverhampton. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and grain with a touch of egg. Taste is grainy and sweet with biscuit on the finish.

Cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 13th Sep 2016. Light golden pour, clean and clear, on top a lasting white blanket of foam. I thought it a little bland to be honest, with very little aroma or flavour: first beer of the night, refreshing but lacking depth and oomph. Light summer blend with not much going on.

Cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 8th Jan 2016. Golden bodied with a slight haze, on top a full white crown. Fruity and semi-sweet, another decent beer from this brewery with light malts blending nicely alongside the hops bitterness.

Hand-pulled pint on 21st June 2014 in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire. Light golden brew with a lemon/citrus bent: fed up with pale golden beers that are citrusy. This one had a hop bitterness to go with the citrus notes though, so it wasn’t completely one dimensional. Scored objectively.
