Handpull cask at the King's Head, the lighter side of golden, clear with aring of white head. Light butter on the aroma, gentle Englidh hops with citrus overtones. Taste of buttered toast, pomelo and light kumquat. Light body, maybe slightly oily with no carbonation. One of those beers where rhe description doesn't do it justice. It's a good beer.

Cask stillage / gravity dispense, half pint, at The City Arms, Cardiff. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Minimal head. Sweetish malty aroma, notes of caramel and fudge. Caramel and fudge in the flavour too, but not overly sweet. The hops are very moderate though.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. There’s citrus and tangerine in the aroma plus some vague hoppiness. In the mouth it is quite juicy with light hops over some underlying sweetness. Hops and grains are the main flavours, but there’s also some oranges, caramel and biscuits. Finish is bitter and sticky. It’s treasonable I guess.

11th Dec 2018. Hand-pulled pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington, Shropshire. Golden pour, decent white crown on top. Nice blend of resinous and citrusy hops alongside some malty semi-sweetness, the dry finish coming as a surprise.

15th March 2018, half-pint, hand-pulled in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire. Poured a clean and clear golden colour, snow white crown. The nose and taste had a citrus leaning, but I found the beer uninteresting and fairly bland in nature. I had already drank two other citrusy natured beers before this and I preferred both of those to this offering. Sorry if you are the brewer!
