Bottle 500ml (AbM)
Dark ruby color, small steady beige head. Aroma has rustic maltyness, caramel and old wood. Light to medium-bodied, decent body for this ABV. Bready, nutty, some caramel, lingering spicey bitterness in the aftertaste. Kind of unique.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 2 - London. Pours clear amber-brown with a creamy, tan head. The aroma has toasty bread, light grain and dried berries. Light sweet flavor with toasted grains, brown bread, understated caramel. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced finish, with notes of bread, grains and leathery fruits. Good stuff - nice character given the low abv.

Good base lager but more hybrid golden ale. Needs more carbonation but nice enough to session. Had worse.

The Sun Inn summer beer festival, cask. Clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Smooth and slightly soft palate. Lightly sweet pale malts. Nice modest citrus and mild marmalade. The back end bring a slightly sharp floral spice with something reminiscent of herb, but not quite so. Guessing thatโll be the nettles! Light finish. Nicely put together and very drinkable.
