Description
Here at St. Andrews’ Brewhouse, we’re fully outfitted with our own microbrewery to produce fine ales and lagers in-house. Whether you’re a real ale fan or a craft beer enthusiast, we’ve got something to suit your tastes.

Our brewer, Jake, is hard at work crafting your next pint. With a background in malting and homebrewing, he is keen to bring his experience to St. Andrews and whip up some fresh and exciting beers! He’s a bit of a history nerd too, so keep an eye out for any of our beers bearing the names of local figures and legends.

Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear brown with a faint foamy head. Tangy malts in the nose, bread, berries. Fairly sour, with vague berry fruits, subtle plastic and cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more off sour notes, toasted grains, earth. Rough. Very rough.

Cask at St Andrew’s Brewhouse, Norwich. Deep amber-red; no head. Seemed flat and low on condition despite the cask having only just been put on. Chocolate, toffee, red fruits and a little sliminess lead a sweet beer offset by a little dry wood at the end. Ok, preferred their Cork Cutters IPA.

Cask at St Andrew’s Brewhouse, Norwich. Gold with a negligible white head. Light caramel and citrus with a pleasingly dry finish. Nice and refreshing although the flavours are on the mild side. Would class it as a golden ale rather than the session IPA it’s down on here as.
