Description
Located in a former church, our brewpub serves the same public function as its predecessor; to spread the gospel... of Craft Beer. In addition to our bar/craft beer organ we have a fully functional brewery with a 500L brewing capacity, a craft beer store and our own Stanis Lounge looking out on the very centre of the city of Enschede.

Bottle at home. Aroma is slightly spicy yeast, a touch of honey, subtle but pleasant chili pepper, light malt. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a hint of bitterness and some hot spicy pepper in the finish. Body is medium. Not as peppery as I’d hoped for, but pretty enjoyable.

Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is roasted with beany coffee, caramel, some dark fruits, milk chocolate, and lactic notes. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium but feels a bit thin for the aroma, with low carbonation. Nice shot of coffee, but not without flaws.

From tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2019. Aroma has shitloads of beany cold brew coffee with coffee grounds, roast, espresso, and mild chocolate. The coffee is quite dominant, which is a good thing as the base beer has a problematic level of liquorice. Body could be more full. Roasty bitterness. Tasty Coffee Stout.
