Description
Located in a former church, our brewpub serves the same public function as its predecessor; to spread the gospel... of Craft Beer. In addition to our bar/craft beer organ we have a fully functional brewery with a 500L brewing capacity, a craft beer store and our own Stanis Lounge looking out on the very centre of the city of Enschede.

From tap at Stanislaus Brewskovitch Brewpub, Enschede. Aroma is floral-ish hops with somewhat candied fruit, bubble gum? Some banana even... Malty. Mild sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Hmmm okay, bit modest overall, lacks hoppy 'oomph'.

From tap at Stanislaus Brewskovitch Craft Beer, Enschede. Smells like puke. Aroma consists of grainy malt, touch of stewed fruit. Earthy, dusty. Light sourish. Unclean Pils, quite messy. When a 'craft' brewery fails at the kind of consistency and clean quality an 'industrial' lager brewery takes for granted. *** Surprised at the other rating, did I get a bad batch?

From tap at the brewery. Rich dark malts with a touch of smoke. Picking up some tobacco (especially in the nose), caramel malt, ash, a little dried fruit. Moderate bittersweet taste. Very nice, malty and a bit smoked.

From tap at the brewery. Spicy aroma with malt, kruidkoek, some caramel, notes of stewed/dried fruit. Medium sweet flavour, bit sticky. Nothing like enjoying a sweet spicy Winter Warmer in the middle of summer.

6.8
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

From tap at the brewery. Roasted malt aroma with tobacco, chocolate, caramel, some burnt notes. Fairly bitter with a moderate sweetness. Should be more full-bodied considering the abv. Aroma is proper Baltic Porter.
