On tap at Beer for Beasts. Since things were arranged alphabetically this was right next to Baltic Porter meaning I was all over the place during this tasting. This pours hazy gold and it a pretty standard IPA. grassy slightly hoppy slighlty floral and some citrus kinda tangerine like. the tap malfunctioned and although I got nice pour my drinking partner had none.

On tap at Beer for Beasts, because the beers were arranged around teh room alphabetically this was first beer most people went to. Not I because i buzzed around haphazardly which almost cost me this fine brew, as this was first to run out. Pours jet black with thin purple head. taste is smoky and slightly sweet and bitter as well. some coffee, and dark fruits. one of my favorites of the day

On tap at Beer for beasts. they were pouring this at two different stations so when informed that one had run out I ran through the masses to get to the other to try. this is a big boozy affair with plenty of malt and hops. i got some earth and vanilla and hints of orange peel as well.

Shaker pint draft at Peculier Pub in New York City. Pour is hazed orange, with a smallish off white head. Very unfiltered looking, almost cask like. Aroma has some floral hops, along with sweet toasted malt and a touch of corn. Taste is the floral sweetness along with the toast of the malt and finishing with the corn, which detracted a bit. Palate had low carbonation levels and an unfiltered medium body. Based on the mouthfeel and look of this beer, I really would have guessed it was a cask pour, but don’t think Peculier had a cask system. Nice cream ale.

On tap at Beer for Beasts. Had this immediately after waiting outside in cold for a bratwurst, why not allow us to bring beers out? It would have warmed the soul. Anyways this pours black and slick. Roasty slight oyster sweet but hop nd coffee bitters. Quite fond of this

On tap at Beer for Beasts. A barleywine was a nice change of pace. Tastes of pine, caramel, figs, and berries. Bitter and sweet. Odd that these high abvs seemingly havd no effect on me, am I invisible? Tbd
