An overall nicely balanced IPA. One of Jupiter's best beers for sure. I'm not a huge Ipa fan, so my rating isn't huge. But I think this is well above average for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16. Clear light golden blonde with a decent off White head. Nose is pale malt, straw, orange, trace of caramel. Taste comprises mellow citric peel, light hop dusting, toasted malt, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average for style.

Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16. Clear golden orange topped with a well appointed egg shell white covering. Nose is grapefruit, sprucey wood, light pine, orange pith. Taste comprises bitter orange, dank hop strokes, pine needle, grapefruit, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Ok DIPA but no great.

Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off White covering. Nose carries a juicy hop ring, orange pith, straw, toasted bread, light pine tingle. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, light dankness to the hop load, pine dusting, toasted malt, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hoppy number ... way better than the IPA for me !

Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16. Black topped with a dirty tan swirl. Nose is big on coffee grinds, cocoa nibs, roast malt blast, dark toffee melt. Taste comprises rich coffee, peppery spice, light charr, roast malt, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coffee affair ... drinks way below 9%!

Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16. Lightly gazed golden orange topped with a decent egg shell white cap. Nose is pissy citrics, grain, lemon drizzle, damp straw, white pepper. Taste comprises sharp citric tones, light funk, tarte grape skin, damp cloth, vanilla essence, mellow fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light pucker in the close. Drinkable but pretty basic and not something I’d choose to revisit.

Taste comprises floral hop, bitter orange, citric doused straw, a touch herbal in places, touch of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Average for the style and not one I’d revisit.

[2/3/16] Draught at Jupiter in Berkeley. Deep golden. Citric hops aroma. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, and bitter citric and piney hops. Medium-bodied.

[2/3/16] Draught at Jupiter in Berkeley. Hazy amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, alcohol. Sweet flavor with malt, toffee, caramel, alcohol, bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel.

[2/3/16] Draught at Jupiter in Berkeley. Dark amber-brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruity esters, mild spiciness. Sweet flavor, caramelly, with fruity esters and light spiciness. Medium-bodied. A good Weizenbock.
