Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared with Eline. Hazy a bit murky orange color, full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is lightly malts, sweetish floral hops, blossom, lightly perfumy even but in a good way. Taste lightly malts, lightly sweetish, lightly fruity, again lightly floral, rye in there as it says on the label. Decent body, a bit fizzy carbonation.

Bomber from Bevmo, Bakersfield. Nose is lactose with a smidgen of roast and coffee. Black with a huge cinnamon tan head that laces moderately. Flavor is coffee with some sweetness but not as good as my favorite stouts.

650ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of old milk chocolate, coffee, red berries, a touch of cardboard. Taste is roasty dark malty, chocolately, some coffee, fruity hopy overtones with hints of red berries; rather lively carbonation.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB Nov 20th 2015, large sample. Clear golden color, big rocky off-white head. Aroma of grainy and spicy rye, bit grassy hop, bit citrus, slight flowery. Malty in taste, rye, medium bitterness, slight spicy from rye. Decent balance between the rye and the ipa. Decent stuff.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden butterscotch, medium off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving good residual and lacing. Aroma is herbal, floral, some citrus. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, lots of herbal and floral notes, some pine. Lingering bitterness. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. This is not bad.

Purchased at some random grocery store in Honolulu, HI; enjoyed on my last day of vacation which kind of bums me out. Appearance is a cloudy darkish gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is not very good, mostly bready malt, smells like a mass produced lager. Taste is also not very good, not many flavors that I can pick out and it tastes like a generic beer. Not a fan.

Very dark brown color. Medium brown head. A touch of lactose in the nose, which is fairly one dimensional, however the mouth shows nice roastiness with subtle coffee flavors, but never over bearing. Decent, without being outstanding.
