75 cl bottle @ home. Dark, almost black color. Nice beige head with long retention. Aroma’s: roasted malts, coffee/mocha-ish, cocoa, red fruit. Retronasal the red fruit jumps out more, with licorice, drop/zoethout. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted, droppig. Body is on the thin side. Flavor lingers, but no new taste.

Poured a slightly cloudy medium amber with a big frothy head. The aroma is weak hoppy, leading to medium bitter, hoppy flavour with a smooth bitter slightly malty palate and a silky bitter finish.

Bottle at ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malty and slightly hoppy. The flavour is medium bitter, with a slightly watery palate and an even weaker finish. Not a classic.

Tap @ UBF ’13. Blonde to orange color. Aroma is somewhat stale, dusty, wet leaves/vegetables. Retronasal there is fruit, caramel, some acidity from the hops. Flavor is caramel, medium sweet, medium bitter. Body is medium. Finishes medium bitter with some caramel. Finishes better than it starts.

Bottle @ UBF ’13. Murky amber color. Dense, rocky off white head. Aroma’s: fruity, sourish. Flavor is medium sweet & sour fruit. Medium bodied. Long finish, but no new flavor.

Tap @ UBF13. Cloudy golden pour, short white head. Aroma of phenolic saison yeast, but with a clear Brett-infection. So some bubblegum, strawberry candy. Lovely, though unintentional. Soft bitter taste, slight sweet, crispy. Nice stuff again.
