Description
Bevog microbrewery is the fruit of inquisitiveness and aspiration towards discovering new beer-drinking experiences; it is the result of enthusiasm, love and zeal. We brew beers with character and soul. Our goal is to transcend the limits of the known and ordinary. We have had enough of a monotonous beer offer and the belittling of beer. Beer can be and is much more than that. Bevog brewery is dedicated primarily to beers of top fermentation, more commonly known as ales. The ales we brew basically originate from England. In the last few decades this highly diverse type of beer has been given greater breadth, a wider range of flavors, has been shifting the boundaries of individual styles and becoming more and more popular around the world. It is gaining popularity not only with beer lovers and beer drinkers, but in general with gourmets, top chefs and people who are always willing to explore new flavours and experiences and who care about what they ingest.

Despite the English roots of ales, we here at Bevog are very creative and do not stick to the established norms. We design our beers in our own way, the way we know is right. We choose a beer style, take it apart, add a broad spectrum of gained knowledge, ideas and views, put it back together and polish it into our own beer, which is not rigidly cemented in the prescribed frames of an individual style. When creating recipes, we strive towards perfection and above all refuse all compromise, which is otherwise sadly in abundance in modern mass production.
All of the above has been confirmed by the received awards and prizes, and above all by the many super pleased drinkers of our beer.
Cheers!

330 ml bottle from Grand Whisky, Vienna.
Dark brown body, with a massive, stable, frothy, rocky, dark beige head, that leaves a thick lacing.
Aroma of nuts, chocolate, slight smoke, hemp, citric hops, pine, fruits.
Tastes of dark chocolate, nuts, coffee, hemp, grass, pine, citrus, some stone fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty, bitter, but smooth, hoppy, piney, zesty, with dark chocolate.

Tasty. Enjoyed this even more than their previous Who Cares Black IPA. Very smooth and greatly balanced, with distinctive dark chocolate and hop notes. The best BIPA from Austria so far for me!

Dark golden, hazy body, with a big, stable, frothy to creamy, rocky, off-white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, pine, grass, resin, juicy tropical fruits, candy.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, with a lot of pine, lemon zest, grass.

Very tasty, the new batch in cans is even better! Especially the distinct pine notes are really enjoyable and are greatly balanced with the juicy fruit notes and just enough malt body. Drinks pretty easy. Propably the most American IPA from Austria so far, like a great West Coast IPA.

Easter tasting @Igor’s place. 0.33 bottle Igor brought from Bevog brewery, huge thanks for this. Pitch black, strong long lasting tan head, leaves a trace on the glass. A lot of exotic fruits in the aroma and taste, mango, very complex, light bitterness that lingers. A top choice!

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Pours vivid golden with a thin foam that rapidly disappears. Aroma is fruity, mango, passion fruit, some diacetyl, disappointing. Flavour is malt, butter, diacetyl, some hops in the end. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not so fresh... disappointing.

Pours a completely black color, small particles floating around, topped with a hefty and lasting brown head. Initially very pleasant tropical fruits aroma, develops into more coffee and chocolate character. Taste starts with a slight sweetness, fruity notes, followed by very decent bitterness with coffee notes and nice herbal aftertaste. Drinkable but with lots of taste.

330 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister. Thanks!
Hazelnut colored, hazy body, with a medium, beige head.
Aroma of bacon, smoke and sweet malts.
Taste is more diverse, a bit bitter and dry, with bacon, smoke, dark fruits, caramel, spices, some hops in the background.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, a bit hoppy, slightly roasty and smokey of course.

Very nice. Smooth to drink, with the bacon not too dominant and especially the taste is very well balanced between smoke notes, typical Brown Ale aromas and some spices. Maybe the mouthfeel could be a bit fuller for a winter ale.
