Cask at Peacock, Derby. Pours a hazy golden yellow with minimal off-white head. The aeroma is sweet and malty. In the mouth the strong creamy sweetness is what first grabs the attention. Followed closely by various fruity flavours – oranges , tangerines, mango. Floral hops start to appear after a while with a little bitterness and hints of spices. Finish is dry and fruity. This is quite nice. It’s an interesting beer – said to be an IPA – but is sweet and malty ?

Cask at Peacock, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. There’s an aroma of treacle with traces of summer fruits. The mouth has flavours of marmalade and floral hops, plus summer fruits and oranges. Varies from slightly sweet to slightly bitter. Finish is dry is yucky tonic water. Not bad – until the finish !
