About
Founded in 2014, Leighton Buzzard Brewing Company is the first commercial brewing company to brew beer in the great town of Leighton Buzzard for over a hundred years.
In September 2019, ownership of the brewery was transferred to Mark Debrick, who is continuing to brew the award-winning beer that put us on the map, while at the same time introducing new and exciting recipes.
In 2020, we launched our local home delivery service serving our customers in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding area.

17/11/2021. Bottle bought at MK Biergarten, Wolverton, Milton Keynes. Pours clear very dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, biscuit, roasted malt, caramel, oatmeal, vanilla, dark fruits, coffee. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, light smooth texture, soft carbonation. Decent modest abv stout.

8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, overripe fruits. Moderate sweetness, earthy bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Bitter fruit finish. Not keen.

Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, milk chocolate, dark fruits, touch of coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Earthy bitter finish. One of the better Beds beers tried at the festival.

Cask at the Shoulder of Mutton, Wendover on 14th September 2020. Brownish copper with off-white film and travelling lace. Malty caramel aroma. Malty in-mouth with tangy berry fruits. A tangy, fruity finish. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.
