Description
As San Diego's first and only Brewery/Winery/Restaurant, we pride ourselves on putting everything we have into the things we do and push the boundaries of creative products to share with our guests.
Our beers are focused on drinkability, merging inspirational flavors from our restaurant and winery to create one of a kind products.
Our tasting room is attached to our restaurant, The Cork and Craft. We're open every day except for Monday, including lunch during the work week, and brunch on Sundays. We not only offer our own beers on tap, but many other guest beers from around the world that we share our 40 taps with. We feature flights of our own beers which can be enjoyed in the bar, restaurant or on our heated outdoor patio.
Come in for the beer, stay for the food, and discover your Abnormal side.

Pint can pours with a murky hazy deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of lime, honeydew and grapefruit. The taste delivers small juicy sweet chunks of mango and guava as well as sweetness infused hop bitter lime and grapefruit. This comes together really well achieving a great balance and depth.

(500ml 2018 bottle shared @ Nische's tasting, thanks to the host!) Pours pitch black with a medium sized tan head and lace. Notes of rather heavy roast with a prominent soy sauce and acidic component, some spent coffee grounds, cacao, earth, umami. No real coconut or vanilla component. Some dark caramel sweetness but rather dry on the whole, dusty and rather bitter from the roast. Medium-bodied, soft creamy carbonation. Huh, this is not what I was expecting at all. Feels as though the 2018 batch is lacking, especially in bottle. Where are the adjuncts?

On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is intense, with amazing maple syrup character, followed by light vanilla and coffee. Flavour somehow manages to express intense maple syrup without it being too sweet, with robust coffee balancing this out. Vanilla beans add just enough accentuation. Phenomenal beer.

On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out honey, gentle cinnamon, and medium roast. Flavour is intense, with a wonderful mix of honey and cinnamon upfront, followed by coffee and a hint of roast. Really lovely honey character, with just enough cinnamon without it dominating. Wonderful beer.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a clear pale copper blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted biscuity malt and some herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal notes, biscuity malt and some grass. Herbaceous crunch on the finish. Not bad.

On tap at Abnormal, pours black with s small brown head. Aroma brings out lots of whiskey barrels upfront, with moderately smoky coffee and light roast. Flavour is heavy on the bourbon, with some rather cheap barrel character coming through - probably the Bulleit - with subdued coffee poking through. The barrel choice could be improved, I think. Solid beer still.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal notes, toasted bready and a bit of a vegetal character. Flavour is along the same lines, with vegetal and herbal notes. Toasted bready finish. Not too impressive but it's alright.
