Cask. Coca Cola brown appearance, hardly any head. Aroma- malty caramel, dark malts. Taste- treacly, biscuity malt, hints of chocolate. Good.

Maldon Beer Fest. Cask. Bright clear pale gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate. Mildly sweet malts. Semi sweet floralness. Trace of citrus. Whisper of hop spice. Light finish. Modest citric peel linger. Wanted more from the Simcoe but it’s quite drinkable.

Maldon Beer Fest. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, bubbly pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Very smooth malts, good tangy toffee that is slightly bitter. Bubblegum esters. Mild floral bitterness. Light finish. Tidy and drinkable.

Mighty Oak Tap Room, Maldon. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and decently crisp. Nice condition. Light malts, mild sweetness. Nice mellow pear esters, trace of apple. Decent floral lemon Sorachi hops. Lesser lemon peel. Light finish. Very drinkable.

Mighty Oak Tap House, Maldon. Cask. Bright clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and gas decent fine carbonation. Nice condition.Smooth malts, good toffee - caramel. Mild floral bitterness. Trace of banana esters. Good orange peel and marmalade. Light finish. Flavoursome and balanced. Could drink a lot of the tidy amber.

Dark ruby color with a fine tan head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium light body and a soft carbonation level. A bit to sweet texture. Sherry-ish, fruity and toffee in the flavor.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Little toffee - caramel in the malts. Mild floral hop spice. Ripe dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. Fine.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Almost clear yellow - gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth, reasonable fine carbonation. Some milky sweetness. Good piney hop. Little orange peel. Floral finish. A bit milky but otherwise decent.

Cask at the Ale House, Colchester. Pours bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma of hop, malt, also quite nutty. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness. Light body and slight oily texture. Carbonation is soft. Finish has floral bitterness. Not bad.
