Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Clear golden body with a dense white head. Relatively mild in aroma with malt, some fruit and a hint of smoke. Flavor is smooth, light malt, medium fruity, fruity hops and some smoke. Quite OK, a bit original with the smoked malt, but not much bitter for an APA.

Bottle. A clear, golden colored beer with a small, off-white head. Rather weak aroma, some pine cones, resins and grass, and something reminiscent of smoke. Rather boring. It’s medium bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with a soft bitterness. Weak flavor too, with some pine cones and resins, on a pale malt back. Mostly bitter finish. Rather boring and uninteresting but at least clean. 170107

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, orange and hint of smoke. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long orange and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is fizzy.

Flaske via DjOeye. Aroma kaffe, røsted malt, noe frukt. Utseende sort med fyldig beige skum. Smak kaffe, malt, røsted malt, lakris. Rund og balansert øl med mild smak. Godt øl

Flaske 500ml kjøpt av djoeye. Drukket hjemme 18 Nov 16. Mørk gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum. Lett karamellaroma. Smaken har hus-smaken til bryggeriet. Lett syrlig & tørr etter hvert.

500ml bottle bought from djoeye and shared with Finn Arvid. Decent off-white head over a near-clear, copper-red coloured body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Restrained malty aroma of earth and almond. Mid-sweet malty flavours with impact of caramel, minerals and almond. Drying malty ending. Medium to thin bodied. Accepted (Yuletide session, Tromsø 15.12.2016).

Bottle at home. Pours copper with little off-white head. Aroma of dark bread, smoke, dark berries. Tastes slightly bitter. Thin bodied. Interesting, but definitely not an IPA.
