Cask (handpump) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M4 5JZ.ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, pale malt, keller, light yeasty, UK yeast, rotten egg. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130126]

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 15/12/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee apple, fruit waft. Taste comprises orchard fruit, caramel, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale. Adequate bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 8/7/2013. Dark, ruddy brown with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish caramel and berry fruits, with a touch of chocolate and gentle finish. Fine.
