Description
We are seven actual brothers of the McAvoy family from Salford who love beer (we also have four sisters who love gin). It was our Dad who first got us into beer – he used to home brew when we were kids and so for us, there’s a lovely nostalgia in everything about beer. We brew our beer in Salford, where we also have our Tap Room – you can come over and visit any time!

Keg @ Square Chapel, Halifax. Black with a light-brown creamy-smooth head. Smooth with notable caramel in its flavour reducing its roasted notes. Very good all the same.

Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - jet black and tan suds. Nose - honeycomb and chocolate, a little flatulent. Taste - creamy caramel, burnt toffee and an edge of dirty treacle. Palate - medium bodied, roasty and bitter middle and finish. Overall - so so.

On Tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small tan head and good lacing. There’s honey, chocolate and vanilla in the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with a smooth creamy texture. Flavour has roasted malts alongside chocolate and honey. Some hints of spice come through later. Finish is slightly dry and sweet. Excellent ! Just wish it hadn’t run out in mid pour !

Can. Nose is thin pineapple and malt. Taste is pineapple cubes, lime, almost sour lemon note, malt and a short thin pineapple finish. It's refreshing but has no body. I just don't seem to get this brewery's output.

Cloudy yellow gold with a big, bubbly white head and a soft citrus aroma. Highly carbonated, but underneath that it’s fresh, fruity and slightly bitter with some floral hop character
