Poured from 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Clear gold with white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity malt and musty funk with subtle hops. Very much the same taste with the hops coming out a bit more at the end.

Draft pour. Copper in color with a nice hoppy aroma. Piney overall, with some floral hop flavor and a finish that turns a little bitter. Not a bad session at all. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orangish gold with a decent head and aromas of resin and dankness. Flavor is mostly based around this combination over a honey sweet malt presence. A very solid beer in spite of not really blowing my hair back with a new take on the style.

Smells nice with a nice start. Hoppy with some poignant espresso. Some sweetness. Some licorice here with herby anise flavour. Lots of roast, light bitter finish. Tap at DC Beer festival.

All is not well here. Doesn’t really come together and tastes a little off. Pours cloudy blonde with ok head and lacing. Fizzy carbonation. Some mash malt and finishes with light sourness without sense of hops. Tap at DC Beer festival.

Hops dominate, as expected. Nice amber body with creamy head. Hops are smooth, piney, some buttery taste. Dry bitter finish.

Reviewed from notes. Too bad this is now retired as this was one of the better offerings by No-Li.
The appearance had a hazy golden copper colored body with a one and a half finger white foamy and bubbly head that quickly dies within less than a half a minute, lacing is clingy somewhat thick and all over the place.
The smell had a deep citrusy pine hops, and an adequate amount of caramel maltiness to back it up.
The taste had a bittersweetness combined together very well, slight citrus aftertaste and sticky dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to borderline medium, sessionable and very worthy of having with food. The carbonation is good for the style and for me as there’s a slight harshness for an APA, but still not overly done.
Overall, this was a very well done APA that I would have again if ever brought out of retirement.

The appearance had a slightly hazy semi orange/somewhat amber colored body with yellow highlights to help to make it fairly clear, thin white half finger foamy head that dies immediately leaving some adequate foamy sticky lacing in its wake.
The smell had some coconut in the beginning (not sure where I’m gettin’ that, but that’s what I truly got) and after it warms a bit toasted piney caramel plays in my nose.
The taste was somewhat bitter but still sweet through the malty bill that comes through, sticky caramel aftertaste, dry caramel finish.
On the palate, it sat about a medium in body, fairly sessionable - pretty much as any DIPA could be, carbonated very well for the style.
Overall, I say a pretty well done DIPA from No-Li, shout out to Breeze - In for gettin’ this in growler fills.

The appearance had a somewhat hazy but more of a clear amber body with a one and a half finger white foamy head that rises a bit and falls leaving some sticky lacing in the wake.
The smell had a bitter citrus hops up front but a nice bready/maltiness angles in to also give a bit of a floral/piney-ness as well.
The taste had a sweet yet bitter combination of hops to bready maltiness, also gets a bit orangey, aftertaste is exactly the same, dry finish.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and good for me.
Overall, I’d say this is a pretty good AIPA, just a tad maltier than most AIPA’s but still worthy of another purchase.

The appearance had a transparent golden amber colored body with a one fingered white foamy head that dies within about a half minute, light somewhat sporadic lacing tries to cling but slides a bit as well.
The smell seems like its bitter for the sake of being bitter as the hops that do end up presenting themselves seem caramel covered. Yes, I will say \"caramel flavored hops\" is what I’m getting and I’m not exactly sure how I feel about that, there is some light citrus on the back end as it warms a bit.
The taste, once again, its bitter for the sake of being bitter with a caramel malt flavoring trying to enter in, but kinda comes across in a somewhat bland way; no aftertaste but I do get a watery finish.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium - actually closer to a lighter body to be honest. Carbonation presents itself not that harsh at all (hmmm...I do see this is a fairly newer beer on BA, but if this is fresh, its not presenting too many good AIPA characteristics), somewhat sessionable.
Overall, in my opinion, I would say there’s better AIPA’s out there. Sorry No-Li, I doubt if I would come back to this.
