Description
Our farm was established in 1855 in the townland of Ardress. Our cider takes its name from our Cider Maker, Greg Mac Neice’s grandmother Annie Mac Ivor. Annie, her husband Matt Mac Neice and their nine children had a passion for apple growing. Her son Sam and her grandson Greg continue that tradition, farming over 100 acres of prime Armagh orchard, packing and processing the apples grown and now making great craft cider too!

0.5 l bottle as 'MacIvors Dry Irish Cider' from 'DeBiersalon.nl', best before July 2026. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, minimally funky aroma of ripe apple, some honey and hints of wood. Gently sweet, minimally sourish, a bit dry, rather fruity taste of ripe apple, some wood and light pear, followed by a short, minimally tart, moderately dry finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Pleasant cider, relatively sweet for a dry one though.

Dry. But still lacking in tartness. And why not a little funk?
