Description
We are proud to present our very own micro-brewery here on site at The Gribble Inn. We have the capacity to brew up to 4320 litres of beer every week, with the capabilities to vary our types and styles of beer.
Each brew is monitored and nurtured for 7-10 days, racked then served. With the support of Simon & Nikki, head brewer Rob has been brewing with a renewed enthusiasm and has had some very successful brews of late: ‘Robs Revenge’ brewed to celebrate his 2000th brew and ‘Flints Full Glory’ named after the pub dog Flint.

Cask at GBBF, Day 4. Pours dark, ruby-brown with a sturdy, light tan head. Notes of dark fruits, toast and dough on the nose. Light sweet flavor, burnt dough, light berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish, bits of dough and light, ripe fruits. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Sussex beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol 4/1/2011. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Dusty citrus aroma with some fruit and dry minerals. Flavour had diacetyl, more citrus fruit, ash and some cutting acidity in the finish. An odd mixture of aromas and flavours that didn’t work.

Cask gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. Copper colour with disappearing white head. Strong lime aroma. Fairly standard citric bitter in mouth. Underlying acidity is apparent throughout and the finish has some pleasing lemon/lime fruit and dusty hops, but that aroma..... truly odd. Chris was lucky and couldn’t smell it.
