Keg at We Brought Beer, Clapham Junction. Aroma is dark chocolate and coffee with a boozy edge. Deep and dark. Thinning but creamy beige head. Sweet. Sugared coffee with some playful spices. Gains bitterness into the finish. Medium bodied. Low fat cream texture. Soft carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Nice enough. A polite impy stout. Perhaps too polite?

Keg at We Brought Beer, Clapham Junction.24/11/17. There is some pineapple but it's really a cider-esque aroma for me. Opaque golden yellow. Thin but creamy white head. Medium sour. Salty into finish. Restrained pineapple.Medium bodied. Slick. Light fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Pleasant. Refreshing. No sour overkill.

Keg at EoE. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, heavy sweet, dark chocolate, slick, oily, Rocky road, burnt cookie dough and chocolate ice cream. The taste is slick, oily, charred wood, deep roast, umami, plummy dark fruits, purple chewits, toasty, peppery spice, decent hit of coffee, chocolate ice cream, toasty and somewhat oily with a slick, toasty finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Good depth of flavour. Really rather enjoyable.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a loose off-white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of stainless steel, pine and orange. Flavour of hop spice, caramel and a bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Very fizzy. Tongue-tinglingly hoppy but feels a bit disjointed somehow. It’s still a decent IPA.
