Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 21/02/20. Clear golden with a well presented white cap. Nose is pale malts, grass, soft breads, lemon twist. Taste comprises pale and bready malts, toasted grains, light caramel wafer, straw, hint of melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent refresher.

Can thanks to Oak! Pours opaque black with a large creamy tan head, Aroma does indeed remind one of horchata, hella vanilla and cinnamon. Mexican coffee. Fairly sweet, light bitter, foolish body.

Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 2 @Manchester Central, 22/02/20. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is sweet malts, light spice, white chocolate, sugars. Taste comprises sweet malts, light coffee, candied orange peel, white chocolate, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad for the sub genre.

Clear pale blond with soapy head. Aroma has lots of coffee. Flavour is quite malty and sweet to start with. Roasted coffee notes but not much bitterness. Light aniseed in the finish.
