Description
Om New Bristol Brewery is a small, but daring, brewery located slap bang in the middle of Bristol. Owned and operated by us, husband and wife team, Noel and Maria. New Bristol Brewery is our attempt to bring people together over great beer. We believe that We have a Love of real ale and Love what we do. We don’t see ourselves as maverick brewers, but we do like to tease the boundaries of traditional brewing.

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 9/5/2014. Deep copper in colour with a slight, off-white head. Some toffee, marmalade fruit and a hint of citrus hop, before a gentle finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at the CPK, Pimlico, 15/04/14. Lightly hazed orange golden with a well appointed washed out beige covering. Nose is light citrus, peach, caramel, vanilla, watermelon, light hops. Taste comprises floral tones, melon, peach, mandarin, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, subtle hop bitterness in the close. Ok easy drinker, limited hop presence though.

Cask gravity @ Craft100. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Tangy orange - lemon. Light floralness. Light semi dry finish. Decent.

Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, tiny pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Smooth malt. Nice marmalade hops with a good minty herby vibe. Smooth and semi dry finish. Hoppy herby linger. Postscript - one of the easier drinking Aramis hopped beers.

Keg at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 27/2/2014. Amber in colour with a slight, white head. Big, hoppy aroma with plenty of citrus fruit and pineapple. Flavour was similarly fruit, with some crisp malts and a dryish finish with a hint of pine. Very good.

Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Pours hazy gold with a feothy, white head. Doughy pale malts in the nose, some orange. Light to medium sweet with lagery chqracter, light bitter hay, some doughy pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with diminutive bitter straw, lightly doughy malts, faint citrus rind bitterness. Very tasty and nicely balanced beer.

Cas-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 29/1/2014. Jet black with a slick of an off-white head. Milk chocolate, leafy hops, vanilla oak, roasted malts and a touch of coffee. Finish was lingering and rich. Excellent.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 5/10/2013. Opaque and jet black with a thin tan head. Massive aroma of coffee beans and plain chocolate, with a touch of vanilla lurking in the background. full mouth feel, with a big chocolate malt edge, more coffee, some tobacco and a vague lactose tang before a rich finish. An excellent, complex beer.
