We are a dynamic and growing 15BBL brewery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent producing beer in Cask, Keg & Can. Pig and Porter is a passion born of necessity, nurtured in a shed, fuelled by belief and fulfilled by the creation of beers that we love. We’re now on a mission to share our beers with everyone who wants to drink better. All of our beers are now vegan friendly with the exception of Honey Hill Wit which contains honey. Pig and Porter now has a growing team in a shiny new site with a new head brewer Riina Laats taking our beers in a new direction.

Gravity poured, third of a pint: 24th Aug 2016, Peterborough CAMRA beer festival. Almost straw blonde in colour, wispy white head. Mild citrus lead over a light malty base in both the nose and flavours, semi-bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day one, 09/08/16. Pale golden blonde with a decent off White covering. Nose is tangerine, straw, melon balls, bread dough. Taste comprises modest citric sherbets, melon, grassy, toasted bread. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop tingle. Easy drinking clean gold .. decent enough for style.

Clear golden color with a fine thick white head. Nice lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, some pine and a bit fruity flavor.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Black with an off-white creamy head. Has healthy tasting roasted malts in both aroma and taste, it’s clean tasting too.

Cask at the Scottish Stores, London on 16th August 2016. Slightly hazy copper with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Citrus and berry fruits accompany a malty aroma. Nutty malts, berries and citrus fruitiness in-mouth. A grassy bitter finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a medium body.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, decent light hoppiness and decent bitterness. Average body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Opaque black color, small beige head. Light coffeish aroma. Light-bodied. A bit malty toasted flavor. Finish is watery. Coffee notes. Ok light dry stout.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A clear pale yellow coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is fruity apricot orange pale grains. Flavour is composed of tangy pineapple, citrs, crisp grainy. Palate is grainy. Pineapple crisp grainy. Ok.

Tap at the Birmingham Beer Bash 2016. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is orange citrus, marmalade. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet with a rich, soft, light woody hop, big fruit, light alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
